We do not use short form in writing, but we can use it in speaking

I want to learn English but it looks like I need to put more efforts on it. I have found that learning a language takes a lot of time.I have never been to a country where people speak English but I try to get used to it by watching vlogs and movies. I am seizing this opportunity to get people's opinions and see what I did wrong. I am sure there will be some mistakes in this short writing. I want to start blogging in English but I don't feel confident yet. I think I still lack a lot of things in English and I have to work hard in order to get myself ready. I could have done it long ago, but I don't want to get comments about my miserable English. ostensibly I look like a perfectionist but at the same time I don't want to look austere and provide bad quality content.

I just want to add that English is my forth Language in case you find it full of mistakes. Do you think I can make it and start writing acceptable articles to publish in articles directories or in a free blog. I want your advice and opinions.

  • people is uncountable noun thus we can't say peoples

  • even though I didn't mention the time I think it is still correct to say what I did wrong

  • writing is also a noun. can you explain to me why we can't say short writing

it is not a big deal but you have forgotten r in you.

First and foremost, sorry for the [r] I forgot, it happens, especially when you are being attacked from mosquitoes ツ

Now, let me explain each point in details

  • People is countable noun, yep, that's right and you can look it up in any dictionary. However after searching you are right in using the "Apostrophe" this way.

  • We use Past simple tense, When the time of the action is known in the sentence, otherwise, we use Present Perfect.

Maybe your are correct if you are studying American English. But, in British Grammar we use this rule regularly.

  • You are correct, "Writing" is a noun, but when it is used to describe an article we use a piece of writing instead of writing.

You can look it up as well. We call it " the natural composition of the text.

If I may get personal, what are the other three languages you speak?!

  • I am actually learning American English

I speak Berber my native and daily language. Arabic because of school, French because of school and I have been there. English is necessary if you want knowledge

I think no body can walk through life Sorry I have just found that it is possible. You may say living his life

No hope comes from a student if he doesn't become better than his teacher. I am not sure about this one still I think it is better this way.

  • He, she it, (or any single word like cat, car) use does and has

  • you, I, we, they (or any plural word like cats, cars) use do and have

  • we use have in present and had in past

  • we use do and does in present and did in past

hi there ,

I am glad to participate with you on this topic , I think it's a good idea to improve our language .

lately, I used to write my own journal hoping to improve my English and make it normal like my native language , I really enjoyed it a lot . I made it this along this week and i hope to continue , because writing daily about what you think or what you feel is a good idea to keep in with your progress on what ever you do .

I use an extension from chrome that correct the grammatical mistakes when you are writing and it helps me a lot I hope it helps you

We use used to when we talk about something we were doing in the past but not anymore. Instead you can say. I have been writing my own ...

hoping to improve my English and make it normal

I really enjoyed it

because you still writing you can't use past form instead you can say : I am enjoying it a lot. the word really doesn't convey a message it is not necessary.

I made it this along this week

it is not formed correctly you can say instead : I have been doing it for a week and I hope to continue.

You lack a lot. I will try to correct what I can. You have to put some serious efforts to learn the basics. I am from Morocco like you. Learning English at school alone is not enough, you have to learn it by yourself.

I am not taking the context of the sentences in consideration. I am only correcting obvious mistakes.
