I want to learn English but it looks like I need to put more efforts on it. I have found that learning a language takes a lot of time.I have never been to a country where people speak English but I try to get used to it by watching vlogs and movies. I am seizing this opportunity to get people's opinions and see what I did wrong. I am sure there will be some mistakes in this short writing. I want to start blogging in English but I don't feel confident yet. I think I still lack a lot of things in English and I have to work hard in order to get myself ready. I could have done it long ago, but I don't want to get comments about my miserable English. ostensibly I look like a perfectionist but at the same time I don't want to look austere and provide bad quality content.

I just want to add that English is my forth Language in case you find it full of mistakes. Do you think I can make it and start writing acceptable articles to publish in articles directories or in a free blog. I want your advice and opinions.

  • people is uncountable noun thus we can't say peoples

  • even though I didn't mention the time I think it is still correct to say what I did wrong

  • writing is also a noun. can you explain to me why we can't say short writing

it is not a big deal but you have forgotten r in you.

First and foremost, sorry for the [r] I forgot, it happens, especially when you are being attacked from mosquitoes ツ

Now, let me explain each point in details

  • People is countable noun, yep, that's right and you can look it up in any dictionary. However after searching you are right in using the "Apostrophe" this way.

  • We use Past simple tense, When the time of the action is known in the sentence, otherwise, we use Present Perfect.

Maybe your are correct if you are studying American English. But, in British Grammar we use this rule regularly.

  • You are correct, "Writing" is a noun, but when it is used to describe an article we use a piece of writing instead of writing.

You can look it up as well. We call it " the natural composition of the text.

If I may get personal, what are the other three languages you speak?!

  • people is plural of person

  • I am actually learning American English

I speak Berber my native and daily language. Arabic because of school, French because of school and I have been there. English is necessary if you want knowledge

Yep and the plural of the plural is Peoples.

Amazing combination of languages, you need Russian to be a hero :D
